K&S GmbH Projektmanagement is the expert-led operating partner for large, cross-border, publicly funded R&D consortia — from the first call analysis to the final audit. Based in Munich, we have been running complex multi-partner funded R&D projects for over 20 years, with 50+ PMO mandates delivered and €500M+ in consortium budgets managed.
What we do
We offer five defined services: Consortium PMO (full coordinator-side operations for 10–50+ partner consortia), Proposal Office (call analysis through portal submission), Back-Office Support (flexible funded R&D support on framework), Financial Management & Controlling (budgeting, cost recovery, audit readiness), and Secure Project Infrastructure (on-premises collaboration platforms for IP-sensitive and dual-use work).
Clean energy & hydrogen
Our clean energy portfolio includes hydrogen aviation, battery systems for hybrid-electric aircraft, and several projects in electrolyser scale-up, AEM membrane manufacturing, hydrogen value-chain assembly, and further battery topics. We have instrument fluency across Clean Hydrogen JU, Clean Aviation JU, Horizon Europe, IPCEI and national BMWE/BMFTR programmes.

Every K&S engagement is owned by a named, experienced expert from our team — a practitioner who has run funded R&D consortia before, who faces the client directly, and who is accountable for the result.
