Progenus

Progenus is an SME specialized in molecular biology and DNA-based testing, with applications in the agri-food, bioeconomy and environmental sectors.

The company has experience participating in European research and innovation projects, such as the DETECTIVE project, collaborating with academic and industrial partners to develop innovative molecular tools and analytical solutions.

Progenus’ core expertise lies in the development and validation of DNA-based detection methods, including PCR, qPCR and LAMP assays, as well as sequencing technologies such as nanopore sequencing. The team works with complex biological matrices and supports the design, optimisation and validation of molecular assays for research and applied projects.
