"Research and Innovation Support for Stimulating and Improving Cooperation with Enterprise in Engineering Education"

Project idea aims to strengthen innovation ecosystems by building sustainable cross-regional partnerships between engineering higher education institutions (HEIs) and industry, with a focus on innovation and entrepreneurship.

By connecting universities, startups, and industry actors across countries, the project enhances collaboration, knowledge exchange, and talent mobility between regions at varying levels of innovation maturity.

Through the establishment of interdisciplinary working groups, project will map regional innovation ecosystems and address critical gaps in skills, collaboration, and entrepreneurial support. The project will implement the CDIO model and create a 5 ECTS course in

Business Laboratory Operations to equip students and researchers with practical skills in entrepreneurship, and market focused innovation. Project will also adapt and pilot BUSINESS HUB Model, providing tailored business support services and mentoring to startups, enabling them to access European funding and scale within the European innovation landscape. These initiatives are designed to foster long-term capacity for innovation in both emerging and advanced ecosystems, contributing to the goals of the New European Innovation Agenda.

By addressing skills gaps, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, and creating sustainable innovation networks, project will boost Europe’s ability to tackle global challenges through engineering-driven solutions, enhancing regional competitiveness and innovation potential.
