A museum that follows the contours of the surrounding mountains. Six floors dedicated to Alpine nature, the origin of life, innovation and sustainability in a bright and eco-sustainable architecture designed by Renzo Piano. The MUSE _ Trento Science Museum must if you want to experience knowledge. A real experience, with itineraries, temporary exhibitions, scientific exhibits and educational workshops for families and children, tackling major local and global issues with a view to building a better future together. Inaugurated in July 2013 on the former Michelin industrial site, MUSE combines the traditional approach of natural history museums with the new interactivity of modern science centres, with engaging exhibits and multimedia installations. The building, which plays with its surroundings in a balance of empty and full spaces, follows the mountain outline as a metaphor to tell the story of life on earth. A tapestry of stories between nature and science, past and future, art and sustainable development, is brought to life through experimentation, discovery and play.
