AI-Driven Automation for Creating Inclusive and Multilingual Multimedia Guides
Development Director at ABACUS
Barcelona, Spain
About
What solutions leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) can efficiently and with high quality automate the content creation pipeline for exhibition guides, from distilling source material to generating fully adapted versions?
Specifically, we are seeking tools that enable:
-
Automatic Content Distillation: Analyse lengthy source texts (curatorial notes, research files) to automatically generate concise summaries and scripts optimized for audio guides and multimedia displays.
-
Adaptation and Accessibility (Diverse Needs): Automatically create content versions tailored for diverse audiences and accessibility needs (e.g., simplified versions for families, expanded descriptions for experts, texts adapted for cognitive disabilities, and formats for low-vision/blind users).
-
Multilingual Translation and Voice-over Generation: Integrate systems that perform highly accurate automated multilingual translation of the distilled content and generate automatic voice-overs (using high-quality Text-to-Speech) for each language, maintaining an appropriate tone and pace for the exhibition experience.
The proposed solution must offer a robust workflow that significantly reduces the time and resources required to prepare a multilingual and inclusive exhibition, minimizing manual intervention in content editing.
Challenge Objectives
-
Reduction in Production Time: Achieve a significant percentage decrease in the person-hours currently spent on drafting, translating, and recording guides.
-
Increase in Accessibility: Ensure guides comply with accessibility standards for various user groups (cognitive, sensory, etc.).
-
Linguistic Quality: Deliver translations and voice-overs with near-human quality to preserve the integrity of the cultural experience.
