Slovenian Chamber of Mountain Resorts

Since its establishment over a decade ago and in cooperation with the members of the Association of Slovenian Cableway Operators, the Mountain Resorts Chamber of Slovenia has been an initiator of the development of year-round active tourism. Deseasonalization and sustainable tourism products are the guiding principles in connecting with other associations and organizations, and in ensuring a competitive tourism product.

Due to their embeddedness in nature, the members will continue to consider all aspects of sustainable development with an emphasis on human resources, and will more intensively integrate the findings of science and research institutions into their work. Despite their small size, our members have proven in recent years that mountain resorts in Slovenia are becoming an increasingly important and indispensable segment of the tourism offer.
