Orbis is an advanced geolocation-based social network designed to map and visualize cultural, social, and community dynamics in real time. The platform enables users and local groups to collaboratively define and shape “territories” of cultural presence through interaction, geotagged content, and check-ins. These territories are represented as dynamic, AI-driven amorphous polygons on a live urban map. Our goal is to create a new layer of cultural intelligence for cities, helping identify hidden social patterns, cultural hubs, creative communities, and evolving local trends. Orbis operates at the intersection of digital humanities, spatial computing, and AI-based social network analysis.
