We create mycelium and agricultural waste-based composites,providing a sustainable alternative to styrofoam, polyurethane used in architecture and construction.
Burcu Arıkan worked in the marketing and advertising industry for about 10 years. She was responsible for the planning, development and execution of marketing programs and initiatives for some of the leading brands in Turkey and globally.
She started her own business on edible grow it yourself mushroom kits in 2017 to encourage food production in cities. With Cem Dildar, she applied her knowledge on the myco composite materials.
Burcu Arıkan has a master’s degree in Advertising at the University of Texas at Austin and bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Istanbul University.
