Gantry Machine Speedliner - Benchmark for high-speed and precision

SpeedLiner is a synthesis of XS and Diamond Linear 30 and represents a new benchmark for high-speed and high-precision portal milling centres. It uncompromisingly incorporates the most advanced technologies and represents a significant development in the world of milling in terms of precision and dynamics.

It is a gantry milling machine with a 5-axis gantry traverse. Its axes are driven entirely by linear and torque motors. This explains the high dynamics, the zero backlash of the moving components and their service life.

The technical features include some unique solutions on the market, such as the thermal conditioning of the structures (patented) for guaranteed volumetric precision regardless of the ambient temperature and the third guide with bending torsion stabiliser (patented), which guarantees the geometric and dynamic alignment of the machine in every area of the working field.

The SpeedLiner also enjoys the contractual guarantee of volumetric accuracy. These solutions therefore enable machining with maximum precision and dynamics, even in environments with significant temperature fluctuations.

The usable milling heads, designed and manufactured in-house, are exclusively connected to torque motors for the movement of the axes and it is possible to choose from various options that cover all production requirements. They range from the head with orthogonal geometry (TOE model) to the fork head (Avio80). Thanks to its shape, the first model with two continuous axes is particularly suitable for machining operations that require a high penetration depth into the workpiece (e.g. plastic moulds), allowing the tool to penetrate areas that are normally inaccessible or only accessible with extra-long tools. The second model, which is mainly used in the aerospace industry, is ideal for machining in 5 continuous axes, both for roughing and finishing. Both solutions can be equipped with an endless system for continuous rotation of the C-axis.
