HRS-VITAL - Energy, reliability and compliance layer for PV-coupled hydrogen refuelling stations (Challenge 2)
Chief Executive Officer at DeepTech Chain LTD
Cyprus
About
HRS-VITAL is a retrofittable, OEM-agnostic software-and-sensor layer for hydrogen refuelling stations (HRS) with onsite renewable production, proposed to the IH-MIE Open Call 2026 under Challenge 2 (Refuelling Infrastructure). Three modules on one data model: (1) PV/BESS-coupled model-predictive scheduling of electrolysis, compression and cascade filling (target 15% less grid electricity per kg H2, 20% lower peak demand); (2) edge, physics-informed machine-learning condition monitoring and predictive maintenance for compressors, chillers and dispensers, with a tamper-evident maintenance and compliance audit trail; (3) an ISO 19880-1 / EN 17127-aligned safety case, HAZID/HAZOP support and a digital permitting evidence pack generated from the audit trail. SME team: DeepTech Chain LTD (leader, Cyprus - edge AI, monitoring, audit trail), Eletoyia Deep Tech Chain LTD (PV engineering, energy management, hardware-in-the-loop validation), Noetiqa LTD (HSE, safety case, permitting). Validation on a PV-coupled hydrogen test bench with a real 5 kW PEM electrolyser in Cyprus, followed by a shadow-mode deployment at an operating HRS. We are looking for: an HRS operator or the IH-MIE pioneer with onsite hydrogen production as demonstration and data partner (read-only telemetry, sensor installation); station OEMs/EPCs and electrolyser suppliers interested in an OEM-agnostic energy + predictive-maintenance layer; RTO hydrogen test facilities (CNH2/FHA) for lab access.
