KARTANK‑H2: Conformable Hydrogen Storage System for constrained vehicle platforms
Technical Director at Go Ahead Engineering SL
Spain
About
KARTANK‑H2 proposes the development of a Conformable Hydrogen Storage System (CHSS) based on a multi‑tube compressed‑hydrogen architecture for vehicle platforms where conventional cylindrical tanks cannot be integrated. The concept will be demonstrated in a Formula Student Hydrogen race car, providing a real and highly constrained use case. GoAhead Engineering contributes design, structural development and manufacturing of the CHSS module. We are seeking partners with capabilities in certification‑oriented test definition, validation planning, and CFD modelling of filling dynamics, thermal transients and internal flow distribution. The objective is to advance a conformable hydrogen storage module from TRL 6 to TRL 8–9 through coordinated design, simulation and experimental validation.
