KiRa Technology is an innovative and dynamic family-run company. Since 2014, we have been creating highly sustainable energy systems based on the principles of the circular economy. Our product is a compact biomass micro-CHP, ideal for producing low cost electricity and hot water for homes, small farms and small businesses. The idea is to convert biomass residues into energy while simultaneously segregating organic carbon through the production of biochar. Biochar is a solid material that contains part of the biomass's carbon and that can be used as soil improver (as well as additive for many other materials). For that reason our micro-CHP is a carbon negative energy system and the perfect way to build circular economy with biomass.
