Welcome to IFIB - International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy!
Confindustria Piemonte, as partner of the Enterprise Europe Network, is organising, together with Circular Bioeconomy Cluster SPRING and Innovhub SSI, the 15th edition of IFIB - International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy.
The event aims to strengthen the bioeconomy ecosystem in the Euro-Mediterranean area and foster new partnerships.
The main topic of the Forum is the circular bioeconomy, with a special focus on industrial biotechnology as a Key Enabling Technology. This year’s edition will explore innovative biotech solutions, including bio-based fuels, bioplastics, and other sustainable applications.
The IFIB 2025 matchmaking event brings together companies, startups, scaleups, research centers, and stakeholders from across the bioeconomy sector. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in five sessions of pre-arranged bilateral meetings, organised through this platform and held on-site during the conference.
Attendees from Europe and beyond will take part in the matchmaking to explore opportunities for collaboration, business development, licensing agreements, joint ventures, research projects, and knowledge exchange.
As part of the matchmaking, a selected group of international investors from Europe, the US, and Asia will also join the sessions, seeking promising startups and scaleups in the areas of industrial biotech, agri-food tech, circular bioeconomy, and cleantech to support and finance.
