The CITIC is a Research Center established in 2008 to promote the advancement and excellence in R&D&I applied to ICT. Driven by the Universidade da Coruña, CITIC serves as a meeting point between the University and the business sector, where R&D departments of ICT companies converge with researchers from the academic field.
CITIC was created with the mission of contributing scientific knowledge and capabilities for the benefit of society; it aspires to become a nationally recognized research center in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) with international prominence. It aims to be acknowledged for its excellence in generating knowledge in the ICT domain and effectively transferring the outcomes to society.
