CITIC contributes to a more inclusive and safer digital society by applying technology to social challenges. Its research addresses sentiment analysis, opinion mining, digital well-being, analysis of online and algorithmic biases and online risk prevention, including early prediction models for problematic internet use.

The center also develops virtual reality solutions for disability support and accessibility, alongside AI and natural language processing tools capable of identifying inappropriate or harmful digital content. Through these initiatives, CITIC fosters inclusion, accessibility, digital trust and improved quality of life for diverse populations.
