About Boreas
Boreas Technology (Istanbul, founded 2002) delivers high-efficiency, high-availability infrastructure for data centers and critical facilities. We design, test and manufacture in our own 33,000 m² facility in Türkiye, with more than 2 million devices produced per year. Since 2025, Boreas and its sister company Exagate have operated as one group under Açık Holding, covering cooling, critical power and automation from design through commissioning and operation.

Core expertise

• Liquid cooling for AI and HPC: CDU1000 coolant distribution units (1 MW nominal, 1.3 MW maximum, N+1 redundant pumps, 10–52 °C secondary loop), rear-door heat exchangers up to 50 kW per rack, and hybrid air and liquid architectures for 30–80 kW racks.

• High-efficiency free cooling: DC Master adiabatic mechanical cooling with AI-supported control, reaching an annual pPUE of 1.06. Units are factory-tested up to 350 kW.

• White space air cooling: In-row units (8–38 kW), fan walls (100–500 kW) and DCPro close control units (DX 8–100 kW, chilled water 10–150 kW), all with BACnet, Modbus and SNMP integration.

• Air handling and heat recovery: Modular, Eurovent-certified AHUs (2,000–100,000 m³/h) with counter-flow heat recovery, and hygienic designs certified by TÜV for hospitals, laboratories and cleanrooms.

• Modular data centers: Factory-built 40 ft containerized data centers (IP55) with integrated power, cooling and IT, deployed in weeks for edge, AI inference, disaster recovery and remote sites.

• Building and power automation (BMS/EPMS): Redundant PLC architecture with SIL2 certification, AI-based dynamic cooling control that prevents hot spots, and real-time monitoring of the full power chain (UPS, generators, busbars, PDUs).

• Safety and security integration: Air-sampling fire detection (up to 15× more sensitive than conventional detectors), lithium-ion battery off-gas monitoring, access control, video analytics and RTLS. We act as main system integrator on an open platform (Niagara N5).

• Digital twin: A 3D unified view of BMS, EPMS and DCIM for virtual commissioning, real-time analytics and remote management of facilities.
