Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry seeks EU project partnerships on Green and Digital Transformation of Industry and Smart Mobility & SME capacity building

Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) is seeking to join Horizon Europe consortia and project proposals focusing particularly on Twin Green and Digital Transformation of Industry and Smart Mobility.

BCCI is one of Türkiye’s largest and most active chambers of commerce and industry, representing more than 60,000 companies across a highly industrialised regional economy. Bursa has a particularly strong manufacturing base in automotive and automotive supply industries, machinery, textiles, technical textiles and composites, rubber and plastics, ICT, energy, rail systems, aerospace and advanced manufacturing.

BCCI can act as a strong industry interface, SME engagement, demonstration, capacity-building, dissemination, exploitation and market uptake partner in European R&I projects.

Industrial and Technological Infrastructure in Bursa

BCCI has developed and supports an extensive transformation infrastructure which can be mobilised in European projects.

Bursa Model Factory supports SMEs in lean manufacturing, digital transformation, productivity and energy efficiency. Its real production environment includes CNC systems, industrial robots, autonomous vehicles and digital manufacturing applications and can support practical learning, SME transformation and industrial demonstration activities.

BUTEKOM – Bursa Technology Coordination and R&D Center provides R&D, testing, analysis, prototyping, technical reporting and consultancy services to industries including automotive, rail systems, textiles, composites, plastics, rubber, aerospace and construction.

Within this ecosystem, BUTEXCOMP – Composite Materials and Technical Textiles Prototype Production and Application Center provides advanced prototyping, design, modelling and testing capabilities with applications relevant to automotive, mobility, rail systems, lightweight materials, aerospace and advanced manufacturing.

BCCI Energy Efficiency infrastructure supports companies in energy measurement, energy efficiency analysis, consultancy and industrial sustainability, providing an additional basis for projects dealing with decarbonisation and resource-efficient manufacturing.

TEKNOSAB – Bursa Technology Organized Industrial Zone provides a next-generation industrial environment focused on high-technology, smart and sustainable manufacturing and offers significant potential for industrial transformation and demonstration activities.
