BCCI is a leading chamber of commerce and industry in Turkey, serving 60,000 member companies, of which approximately half of them operate as manufacturers in Bursa. Main industries in Bursa are Automotive, Textile, Machine Manufacturing, Construction, Agri-Food . Small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) constitute 99% of the total enterprises in Bursa Economy. BCCI has played a pivotal role in empowering SMEs by utilizing its own resources and creating awareness about effective state support usage.
The scope of BCCI’s work covers business support services, innovation and R&D promotion, vocational education and training, internationalisation, cluster development, sustainability and green transition, digital transformation and policy advocacy. BCCI actively contributes to ecosystem building based on a quadruple helix approach, bringing together industry, academia, public institutions and civil society to foster inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
