MCP servers and AI-agent integration expertise for transport & logistics consortia

CTO at Cargoffer

About

Cargoffer offers consortium partners its production-tested expertise in building and operating Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers for the transport and logistics domain. Our engineering team has shipped and maintains MCP servers in three product verticals — route optimisation, electronic consignment notes and freight marketplace — all open-sourced under github.com/cargoffer, plus a Skybridge MCP App that provides type-safe, interactive API documentation consumable by any MCP-compatible client (Claude Desktop, Cursor and others).

We contribute expertise in:

• MCP server architecture and SDK usage, with production reference implementations that handle authentication, rate limiting, schema validation and error semantics in a way that is robust enough for LLM-agent consumption.

• Transporting existing REST/OpenAPI services to MCP, including the design choices around tool granularity, resource exposure and prompt templating for transport-specific tasks.

• LLM-agent integration patterns for route optimisation, tolls, POIs, traffic, weather, eCMR and freight exchange — including how to design tool descriptions so that agents make correct routing decisions across multi-call workflows.

• Skybridge-style interactive documentation: a TypeScript MCP app that lets an agent or a developer query the live API surface and render results in a structured UI, useful for consortium demonstrators that need to show stakeholders how AI agents consume logistics APIs.

• Reference deployment patterns and CI practices for keeping MCP servers in lockstep with the underlying REST API as it evolves.

We are open to contributing this expertise to Horizon Europe 2026-2027 consortia in Cluster 4 (Digital & Industry, specifically the international cooperation in AI call) and Cluster 5 (Mobility projects that include AI-agent or copilot components for transport operations).
