Maritime, Port and Sustainable Transport Expertise for Horizon Europe 2027

We are seeking opportunities to join Horizon Europe consortia that address sustainable, digital, and low-emission transport systems; we are particularly interested in water transport, ports, and their integration into the broader logistics and mobility ecosystems.

Our expertise encompasses maritime transport, port operations, decarbonization of shipping, energy transition, sustainable logistics, supply chain management, business models, and governance. We are particularly interested in contributing to projects addressing the following topics:

1. Autonomous vessels in short-haul maritime transport and inland waterways, including port-ship integration, operational efficiency, safety, business models, governance, and workforce impacts.

2. Environmental impacts of water transport, including decarbonization, alternative fuels, emissions, environmental performance, port sustainability, and stakeholder/governance approaches.

3. Electric operation and battery endurance in water transport, particularly including vessel operational profiles, charging infrastructure, economic feasibility, port adaptation, energy transition, and business models.

4. Sustainable transport and environmental impacts of transport operations, including air quality, noise, community impacts, stakeholder engagement, and integrated transport planning.

We can contribute through research, impact assessment, socio-economic analysis, business model development, stakeholder engagement, governance frameworks, supply chain and logistics analysis, and pilot/demonstration activities.

We are particularly interested in participating in Horizon Europe 2027 consortia as a research partner or task/work package leader, and we are open to collaboration with universities, research institutes, ports, shipping companies, technology providers, transport operators, public authorities and other relevant stakeholders.

Our aim is to contribute to multidisciplinary projects that combine technological innovation with real-world operational, economic, environmental and governance challenges in the transition to sustainable and zero-emission transport.
