PRODUCT CERTIFICATION

We provide certification in accordance with the following standards:

EN ISO 3834
EN ISO 3834 specifies quality requirements for welding processes involving metallic materials. These requirements can also be adapted for other welding processes.

They relate only to those aspects of product quality that can be influenced by welding and are not assigned to any specific product group.

EN 1090

The PN-EN 1090 standard requires manufacturers to affix the CE marking to structural components intended for use in steel, aluminium, or composite steel–concrete structures placed on the European Union market.

The PN-EN 1090 standard, Execution of Steel and Aluminium Structures, consists of five parts:

• Part 1 – Principles for the assessment of conformity of structural components (harmonised standard under the CPR)

• Part 2 – Technical requirements for steel structures

• Part 3 – Technical requirements for aluminium structures

• Part 4 – Technical requirements for cold-formed steel structural components and cladding for roofs, ceilings, floors, and walls

• Part 5 – Technical requirements for cold-formed aluminium structural components and cladding for roofs, ceilings, floors, and walls

EN 15085

Certification under EN 15085 is aimed at:

• Manufacturers of rail vehicles and their components,

• Organisations providing welding services for the railway industry,

• Internal organisational units performing assembly or repair of rail vehicles using welding techniques.

The EN 15085 series covers the welding of metallic materials in the production and maintenance of rail vehicles and their components.

Certification of welding facilities is based on three classification levels (CL – Level 1 to 3), which depend on the weld quality class (CP A to CP D) for welded joints specified in EN 15085-3.

Quality requirements for welding facilities performing work on rail vehicles, their components, and subassemblies are defined in the EN ISO 3834 series. Depending on the certification level, compliance with EN ISO 3834-2, EN ISO 3834-3, or EN ISO 3834-4 is required.
