Personnel Certification

We conduct the certification of personnel in the field of flanged connections in accordance with the standard:

PN-EN1591-4:2014-02/Ap1:2023-08 / EN 1591-4:2013

Flanges and their joints – Part 4: Qualification of personnel competence in the assembly of bolted connections for critical service pressurised systems.

Basic Scope – Certification Categories

• Category I – Bolted Joint Assembler

• Category II – Supervising Engineer

Verification of Competence

Verification of competence is required for personnel who:

·         Work on the construction of new pipelines or the operation of existing pipelines, transmission lines, tanks, distillation columns, etc., and are involved in the assembly, disassembly, or supervision of bolted joints in systems under pressure during operation.

·         Work for companies executing contracts, including in the oil and gas sector, both domestically and internationally.

·         Wish to acquire new or expand their knowledge and skills in bolted connections, where a faulty joint could pose a risk to human health, life, or the environment.

Benefits of Certification

Certification helps to eliminate the risk of non-compliance with the requirements of employers or contractors regarding verified competencies.
These competencies are confirmed by an independent third party in accordance with the currently applicable standards.
