About
thriveGEO brings strong experience leading stakeholder engagement, dissemination and communications activities for Horizon Europe. We work at the interface of users, communities, stakeholders and technology, empowering organisations to use remote sensing and geospatial data through strategic advisory, consulting and training.
Our background
thriveGEO's distinctive expertise lies in an in-depth technical knowledge of Copernicus data and services combined with modern, cloud-native geospatial technologies; a proven ability to translate complex technical information for non-expert audiences and make it relevant to their organisation's goals; and extensive experience understanding user and training needs, gained through engaging over 5,000 Copernicus data users in training and outreach activities.
This expertise is reflected in thriveGEO's flagship projects. Our flagship training course on Cloud-Native Geospatial has been delivered through successful group trainings with CNES, the French space agency, and the Australian Ocean Data Network. We have also led upskilling activities for the ESA-funded EOPF Toolkit, including the development of an open-source online training resource for the new EOPF Zarr format; leading Stakeholder Engagement, Dissemination and Communication for the Horizon Europe-funded project ‘Open Geospatial Carbon Registry’; and are leading Communications and Outreach for the ESA-funded APEx and EOPF Explorer projects.
thriveGEO’s team brings together complementary skills in geospatial data processing, stakeholder analysis, user engagement, and training development. thriveGEO’s global client base spans Europe, North America, Asia and Oceania, across management consulting, higher education, environmental, nonprofit, and public sectors, including Amazon Web Services, Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales, Natural Resources Canada, Yale University and the Australia Ocean Data Network (AODN).
