About

`ASATA is looking to join Horizon Europe consortia as a territorial implementation and social innovation partner in projects addressing circular, just and nature-positive transition.

Our current activities combine social economy, circular economy, just transition, territorial innovation, inclusive employment, energy transition, blue economy and Living Lab methodologies.

A key added value of ASATA is our capacity to connect environmental and technological innovation with social economy enterprises, inclusive business models, employment creation and territorial development.

We are particularly interested in building on ongoing initiatives such as Lláscares, our social and circular economy hub located in a former industrial and mining area, where we work on circular construction, construction and demolition waste, reuse of industrial spaces, skills development, inclusive employment and territorial regeneration.

ASATA also has experience in Living Lab and co-creation methodologies, stakeholder engagement, participatory governance and the transfer and replication of innovative solutions. Through our European cooperation activities, we are also active in blue economy and marine-related innovation, as well as rural and territorial development.

We can contribute to Horizon Europe projects through:

  • territorial implementation and pilot activities;

  • mobilisation of social economy enterprises, SMEs, public authorities and local stakeholders;

  • development and testing of social economy and inclusive business models linked to circular and nature-positive transition;

  • co-creation and participatory processes;

  • circular economy and just transition approaches;

  • Living Lab methodologies;

  • capacity building, training, entrepreneurship and inclusive employment;

  • social and territorial impact assessment;
