Senior Research & Innovation Account Manager at Arctik
Brussels, Belgium
About
Arctik is looking to join Horizon Europe NATURE Call consortia as a partner responsible for communication, dissemination, stakeholder engagement, knowledge translation, policy uptake and impact monitoring.
Based in Brussels and part of Technopolis Group, Arctik helps research and innovation consortia connect biodiversity evidence and project results with the policymakers, public authorities, practitioners, businesses, communities and civil society organisations able to use them.
Arctik can lead or contribute to:
-
communication, dissemination and impact strategies;
-
stakeholder mapping, audience segmentation and engagement planning;
-
co-creation, dialogue and engagement with practitioners, public authorities, civil society and local communities;
-
translation of scientific, technical and monitoring results into accessible and decision-oriented formats;
-
policy briefs, evidence notes, practical guidance, visual explainers and multimedia content;
-
visual identity, websites, digital platforms, infographics and audiovisual production;
-
practitioner communities, workshops, webinars, policy dialogues and European events;
-
multilingual campaigns and targeted media outreach;
-
cooperation with related Horizon Europe projects, European partnerships, professional networks and policy initiatives;
-
monitoring of communication, engagement, dissemination, usefulness and uptake;
-
support for exploitation, replication and the continued use of project results.
Arctik has relevant experience in European research and institutional projects addressing biodiversity, ecosystem restoration, protected areas, soil carbon, climate resilience, environmental governance and citizen engagement.
Relevant references include:
-
LIVING PARK, a Horizon Europe proposal on maintaining the effectiveness of protected areas under intensifying drivers of biodiversity loss, for which Arctik developed and led the work package on communication, dissemination, policy uptake and replication;
-
ORCaSa, a Horizon Europe project on international research cooperation on soil carbon, in which Arctik led communication and stakeholder engagement;
-
the European Natura 2000 Award, for which Arctik delivers communication, outreach to protected-area managers and conservation networks, public engagement and the European award ceremony for the European Commission;
-
Be Biodiversity, an interactive public-engagement initiative translating pressures on biodiversity into an accessible digital experience.
We are particularly interested in projects that need to move beyond visibility and establish a credible pathway from research results to stakeholder participation, policy implementation, adoption, replication and long-term impact.
We would like to meet coordinators, research organisations, public authorities, protected-area networks, civil society organisations and technical partners looking for an experienced consortium partner to lead or strengthen their communication, engagement and impact activities.
