Ideation, Design, Drafting, Completing
About
We are the team of Chemical Technology Faculty of National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”.
Our competency is in composite materials (organic, polymers and inorganic binders), their chemistry, fabrication, characterization. Also, we have competency in agricultural waste valorization, surface treatment, compounding etc.
Our key areas include Climate-neutral, circular and digitised industrial value chains, Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) chemicals and materials.
We currently have a national project dedicated to obtaining of water dispersions of bio-based polymers (PLA, PHA) plasticized with deep euthectic solvents.
We have extensive experience with surface texturing, functionalization (including PFAS alternatives), and obtaining superhydrophobic surfaces.
We can offer (in the project):

Applied research in field of polymer materials, coatings, and composites. Especially for bio-based materials (PLA, PHA, PBAT), waste valorization (agricultural and industrial);

Technology development in the field of polymer composites, packaging, coating, adhesives;

Piloting and the production (demonstrators) on the university hub base;
-
Connect the consortium with industrial companies of Ukraine.

Take part in the results dissemination;

Etc.
