About
Through LIFE COSTAdapta, we are especially interested in connecting with territories, institutions and experts working in high-energy coastal environments and complex maritime settings.
We would welcome exchanges with stakeholders dealing with:
-
exposed coastlines affected by strong wave action and erosion
-
island or Atlantic coastal environments with challenging marine dynamics
-
complex sediment transport, shoreline instability and overtopping risks
-
adaptation planning in places where conventional solutions are not always suitable
-
nature-based or hybrid approaches in demanding coastal conditions
Our aim is to learn from comparable real-world cases, exchange technical and governance lessons, and explore how adaptation approaches can be transferred or adjusted across vulnerable island and coastal territories.
