LIFE COSTAdapta: cooperation for replicable coastal adaptation in island territories

LIFE COSTAdapta is an EU LIFE project based in Gran Canaria focused on coastal adaptation, community resilience, and the development of nature-based and hybrid solutions for vulnerable coastal areas.

Through this opportunity, we would like to connect with:

• island and coastal public authorities

• researchers and technical teams

• coastal managers and practitioners

• NGOs and local stakeholders

• organisations interested in replication, transferability, or future cooperation

We are especially interested in exchanging knowledge on:

• replicating adaptation approaches in island and coastal territories

• ecosystem-informed and place-based coastal design

• governance, stakeholder engagement, and social acceptance

• monitoring, evaluation, and adaptive management

• long-term environmental, social, and economic sustainability of coastal adaptation measures

This is not primarily a search for formal project partners, but rather for relevant stakeholders, territories, and organisations interested in sharing experiences, exploring transferability, and building future collaboration around coastal resilience.
