A "no-dashboard" predictive and prescriptive maintenance linking machine degradation to energy efficiency

About

Through non-invasive sensors capturing vibration, temperature and other critical parameters, AI-driven diagnostics and expert validation, the service continuously monitors critical rotative equipment powered by electric motors, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, fans, chillers, compressors, conveyors, separators and decanters.

It detects early degradation before it turns into failure, quantifies the impact of each anomaly on reliability, energy efficiency, operating cost and CO₂ emissions, and converts the analysis into clear, prioritized recommendations. Actions are ranked by technical severity, downtime risk, ROI and ESG impact. Insights are delivered directly into the tools and workflows already used by maintenance teams, avoiding the need for another dashboard. The service also includes expert review, recurring follow up and support in turning diagnostics into concrete maintenance decisions.

In one water pumping station, the service monitored eight motor pump groups of around 2 MW each. Early diagnostics identified multiple degradation patterns that were not visible to the operator, including two cases causing around 5% energy efficiency loss. By acting earlier instead of waiting several months for the issue to become evident, the customer achieved payback in around 20 days, while reducing failure risk, energy waste and avoidable CO₂ emissions.
