Cooperation for Greener IT and sustainable services

R&D project specialist at Mantu Lab

About

Mantu Lab turns complex sustainability challenges into concrete, high‑impact digital solutions. Built around a PhD‑level team in sustainability, AI and telecoms, we combine scientific rigor with hands‑on engineering to help organisations make their buildings, infrastructures and IT more efficient, resilient and climate‑aligned. From early‑stage research to full‑scale deployment, we design and deliver projects that make digital infrastructure genuinely smarter and greener. We run internal R&D projects to explore new use cases, validate concepts in pilot environments, and then accompany partners in scaling these solutions to real‑life portfolios of buildings.

Smart buildings

Mantu Lab supports the full lifecycle of smart building projects, from low‑TRL research to large‑scale deployment. Our team in designs advanced sensing, control and optimisation algorithms to forecast and reduce energy consumption, improve comfort and optimise operations across commercial and industrial sites.

Data centers

On data centers, Mantu Lab focuses on making critical digital infrastructure more efficient, resilient and sustainable. We lead internal R&D projects that cover low‑TRL work on monitoring, thermal management, workload orchestration and AI‑assisted optimisation, and extend them up to deployment in production environments. Our experts help operators and users of data centers reduce energy use and emissions, improve PUE, and integrate sustainability KPIs into design, operation and capacity‑planning decisions.

Green IT and digital sustainability

Mantu Lab also drives Green IT and digital sustainability initiatives, combining environmental science and software engineering. We conduct research projects to quantify the footprint of digital services, build decision‑support tools and develop greener architectures, from efficient code and data management to infrastructure choices and network design. These projects typically start at low TRL, where we explore methods and models, and progress up to concrete deployments with our partners, turning sustainability strategies into measurable and durable improvements.
