We are a composting facility, we are workiing on increasing the value of our compost enriching it to a biofertiliser and biostimulant, we suffer from the high costs and low valorization of out leachate wich comes from pure OFMSW it has high COD but low heavy metals and impurity, it can be converted into biostimulant as well. On top of it we suffers from the quantity (more or less 10%) or plastic and bioplastic that are not biodegradable in the timeline of our process. If it will continue like this all small and medium size composting facilities will close and only big companies, which by experince has less relation with territory, do not respect the proximity principle (to feed their capacity they have to go far to get enough waste (unless they are in big cities). Our biofertiliser production os based on enriching compost with biochar, and agrifood by products, or agrifood waste that can be converted into by products just because someone start using them (art.184-bis dlgs 152/2006)
