GreenBrain Science is a Spanish deep-tech startup solving the two critical barriers to AI adoption at scale: high operating costs and rising energy consumption. As organizations deploy generative AI across more workflows, most default to premium models for every task, wasting budget and energy on simple operations that cheaper, smaller models handle just as well. Our flagship product, GreenBrain AI, is an intelligent routing middleware that intercepts every request, analyzes its complexity in milliseconds, and dynamically routes it to the most cost- and energy-efficient model among dozens providers, without sacrificing output quality. In a comprehensive independent evaluation by EY, GreenBrain AI delivered a ~64% reduction in cost and a ~68% reduction in energy consumption versus a fixed premium model baseline, while maintaining comparable answer quality in open-ended reasoning and summarization tasks. Built on peer-reviewed research by founders from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), our methodology is certified under ISO 14064 for carbon measurement and aligned with ESG and CSRD frameworks. GreenBrain Science operates a B2B and B2B2B SaaS model, sold directly to enterprises and through system integrators and consultancies.
