IAA – Adaptive Artificial Identity: User-Controlled Local AI Architecture

About
IAA – Identidad Artificial Adaptativa / Adaptive Artificial Identity – explores an AI architecture in which the user's persistent artificial identity is separated from the AI model currently performing a task.
The central principle is simple:
the identity belongs to the user, not to the AI model or service provider.
Identity, authorised context, permissions and continuity remain under user control, while different AI models and computing resources can be selected according to the task and available hardware.
The architecture is designed to support:
-
local-first AI processing,
-
persistent user-controlled identity,
-
separation between identity and context/memory,
-
continuity across computers and mobile devices,
-
interchangeable AI models,
-
modular AI capabilities,
-
controlled use of external or cloud resources,
-
distributed computing between available devices,
-
offline operation when possible,
-
and graceful degradation when resources are unavailable.
The project also explores a distributed-node architecture where computers, mobile devices, local hardware and external AI accelerators can act as independent capability providers while the IAA core preserves identity, permissions and continuity.
A working local experimental environment already exists.
Tests have included local AI inference, persistent conversations and documents, controlled document processing, multiple local AI models and communication between nodes.
A separate node-integration prototype has also been backend-tested with persistent node identity, explicit pairing, authentication and heartbeat mechanisms.
These experiments validate individual components of the architecture but do not yet constitute a finished distributed commercial product.
I am looking for AI and edge-computing researchers, embedded-AI specialists, cybersecurity and identity experts, hardware developers, AI accelerator manufacturers, interoperability specialists, universities and technology centres.
The objective is to develop measurable prototypes and independently validate performance, interoperability, privacy, resilience, hardware efficiency, energy consumption and user control.
