The Central Institute for Labour Protection - National Research Institute is Poland's primary research institution working to improve working conditions based on human psychophysical capabilities. The Institute conducts research that leads to technical and organizational solutions in occupational safety, health, and ergonomics, supporting state socio-economic policy objectives. We cover various aspects of occupational safety and health. Research and development projects are carried out as part of long-term government programs, aiming to reduce workplace accidents and occupational diseases. The Institute develops educational materials for national education, training, and postgraduate studies while working on research methodology improvements. Activities include establishing labour protection standards and guidelines, providing expert opinions, and conducting certified laboratory testing for occupational safety products and services
