About
CIOP-PIB is seeking to join a Horizon Europe consortium for the call: Advancing knowledge on the impacts of micro- and nanoplastics (MNPs) on human health. We bring extensive expertise in: • Occupational exposure assessment to micro- and nanoplastics • Airborne MNP detection and monitoring in real-world workplace environments • In vitro toxicology studies using established human barrier cell line models • Laboratory research on cytotoxicity, cell stress, morphology, and response to MNPs • Development of methodologies for risk assessment, prevention, and mitigation strategies • Translating scientific evidence into OSH policy recommendations.
