About me

After completing my bachelor's degree in Chemistry, I pursued both my master's and Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Technology. Throughout my academic journey, I have been involved in various research projects, focusing on the synthesis of functional polymeric materials and their technological applications. For the past 8 years, I have been working as a Senior Principal Researcher at the TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (TÜBİTAK MAM).

My main research areas include the development of flame-retardant and mechanically durable materials, functional materials for medical applications, surface functionalization for sensor technologies, and the design of membrane and gel-based systems. In recent years, I have particularly focused on the use of biomass as a sustainable resource to develop eco-friendly functional materials. These materials are being explored for applications in various sectors such as agriculture, medicine, and the plastics industry.
