About me

Roberto Sarro Trigueros holds a PhD in Materials, Structures, and Ground Engineering from the University of Alicante (UA), awarded in 2019. He has over 15 years of experience in R&D, working both in public administrations and the private sector. Since 2011, he has been working at IGME-CSIC, leading studies on rockfalls and serving as principal investigator on four projects. He is the author of more than 60 publications on ground movements, rockfall modeling, and the analysis of instabilities using remote sensing techniques. In addition, he is a member of the Landslide Working Subgroup within the National Monitoring Plan for Seismic, Volcanological, and Other Geophysical Phenomena.
