KEMEA (Center for Security Studies), established in 2005 as the official research center of the Hellenic Ministry of Citizen Protection, operates as an innovation think tank dedicated to advancing security, resilience, and civil protection policies.

Central to KEMEA’s activities is its close collaboration with the Hellenic Police, supported by a formal memorandum of cooperation that reinforces joint efforts in addressing operational security needs, technology integration, and policy development.
