Seeking partners for Improving the EU's defence energy resilience and environmental sustainability.
About
European Defence Fund 2025:
H2SITE - Enabling Hydrogen Transportation for a Sustainable Future
H2SITE provides key technological solutions to enhance energy resilience and support the green transition in defence, with a particular focus on hybrid military and naval applications. Our membrane reactor technology enables decentralized production of high-purity hydrogen from liquid carriers such as ammonia or ethanol, facilitating the integration of alternative fuels into naval fleets and tactical energy systems.
We are actively seeking collaborative projects in naval defence where our technology can contribute to operational decarbonization, improve energy self-sufficiency on maritime platforms, and support the development of resilient and sustainable energy infrastructure. Our solution is particularly well suited for dual-use (civil-military) applications, thanks to its flexible deployment, low logistical footprint, and alignment with the EU’s energy transition strategies.
The European Defence Fund 2025 prioritizes environmental sustainability in defence, supporting the development of hybrid propulsion systems, alternative fuels, and eco-designed military equipment. Key goals include reducing the carbon footprint of military bases, enhancing energy resilience, and promoting green technologies for land, air, and potentially naval platforms. H2SITE’s technology aligns with these objectives, particularly in onboard and onland applications, fitting well under Priority #7: Energy resilience and green transition.
