D-TEK – OLINAR A next-generation platform for label-free biomolecular interaction analysis
Consultant at Catalyze
Amsterdam, Netherlands
About
We need your support to identify and approach a new international partner for D-tek’s Eureka Biotech Call application. D-tek is developing OLINAR, a next-generation Surface Plasmon Resonance imaging platform enabling real-time, label-free, multiplex, and customisable analysis of molecular interactions.
The objective of the project is to optimize and validate Olinar into a robust, customisable research-use-only (RUO) optical biosensing platform ready for commercialisation through technical de-risking and representative end-user validation
We are looking for an innovative biotech SME, CRO or technology company fitting one of the following profiles, in order of priority:
- Veterinary biotechnology or biomarker company
A company developing RUO assays, biomarkers or biological products for companion animals or livestock, offering a potentially faster route to commercialisation than human diagnostics.
- Agricultural biotechnology company
A company developing biomarkers, biosensors or biological products for plant and crop health. Potential applications include detecting plant pathogens, monitoring crop stress, characterising plant–pathogen interactions, assessing biological inputs or developing multiplex assays for agricultural research.
- Multiplex biomarker assay developer (RUO)
A company developing research-use-only biomarker panels that could use OLINAR to optimise and validate multiplex assays without entering clinical diagnostics.
- Therapeutic antibody or biologics developer
A company with antibodies, proteins or other biologic candidates requiring higher-throughput affinity, kinetic, specificity or cross-reactivity analysis.
- Biotechnology CRO
A CRO providing biomarker analysis, assay development, antibody characterisation or biologics-development services that could integrate OLINAR into its customer offering.
- Environmental or food-safety biosensing company
A company developing multiplex assays for pathogens, toxins or contaminants in food, water or environmental samples.
- Customisable biosensing or assay-development company
A company developing application-specific biological assays that could use OLINAR as a flexible platform for tailored biomarker panels across different markets.
The ideal partner should:
-
have a concrete product, candidate library, biomarker panel or analytical challenge that can serve as the project’s industrial use case;
-
provide relevant biological samples, targets, receptors, antibodies or biomarkers for platform development and validation;
-
benefit commercially from integrating OLINAR into its products, development workflow or service offering;
-
be established in a country participating in the Eureka Biotech Call;
-
be eligible and willing to apply through its national funding agency;
-
have sufficient resources for the required co-financing
