Intercultural Project Management

About
Work for Ukraine is a cross‑border strategic partner for Dutch and Ukrainian organisations, with a strong operational presence in both countries and extensive project management experience across the public, private, and NGO sectors. We enable effective cross‑border cooperation by combining international standards with deep local insight—reducing cultural and administrative barriers, increasing accessibility, and accelerating execution.
A core strength of Work for Ukraine is the formation and management of coalitions between Dutch and Ukrainian stakeholders, including governments, private companies, and civil society organisations. We align partners around shared values and clear objectives, actively managing these coalitions to ensure transparency, accountability, and maximum collective impact.
We support our partners in navigating legal and regulatory frameworks across borders, including compliance with EU, Dutch, and Ukrainian legislation, donor requirements, and governance standards. By aligning legal structures, contractual arrangements, and reporting obligations from the outset, we reduce risk and create a stable foundation for cooperation and investment.
In addition, Work for Ukraine provides hands‑on support in cross‑border logistics and operational coordination. This includes supply‑chain oversight, procurement processes, mobility of goods and services, and coordination with local authorities and implementing partners. Our local presence ensures that projects move from plan to execution efficiently, even in complex or rapidly changing environments.
We also specialise in activating and structuring financing through subsidies, grants, and investments. Preferably, we do this together with our coalition partners to ensure shared ownership, long‑term commitment, and strategic alignment. However, we also offer financing support as a standalone service for organisations seeking to access funding in unfamiliar or high‑complexity contexts.
Ultimately, our focus is on implementation and measurable impact. We help partners translate strategy into results—delivering projects that are practical, scalable, and sustainable, while fully complying with legal, logistical, and donor or investor requirements. By bridging strategy, funding, and execution, Work for Ukraine ensures that cross‑border collaboration leads to durable outcomes.
