Innovative automation and service concepts for regional and capillary rail lines
Transfer manager at Technische Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe

About
We contribute to innovative regional rail services and concepts for revitalising capillary lines with a strong technical focus on automation, perception and model based development. Our main application case is MONOCAB, a self balancing automated monorail vehicle developed at Technische Hochschule Ostwestfalen Lippe (OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Germany) together with regional partners.
Our expertise covers system architecture, vehicle dynamics and control, model based development, MIL/SIL/HIL testing, environment perception, sensor fusion, AI based perception, and the integration of these elements into ATO and lightweight regional service concepts. We also develop digital twins of vehicles and infrastructure to evaluate operating concepts, capacity, safety related functions and operational performance on low density lines.
We are interested in leading and contributing to technical work packages on automation, digital twins, perception and model based testing.
