Hydrothermal Gasification Technology and Applications for Renewable Gas Production

CADE has developed a proprietary Supercritical Water Gasification (SCWG), also known as Hydrothermal Gasification (HTG), technology that converts a wide range of organic feedstocks—both wet and solid—directly into renewable gases such as hydrogen and methane, without the need for energy-intensive drying steps. Operating under supercritical water conditions, the process enables high conversion efficiency, zero solid waste generation, and recovery of valuable nutrients, supporting circular economy and industrial decarbonization objectives. CADE develops and supplies SCWG technology and systems at both pilot and industrial scale. CADE’s SCWG technology is ready for first commercial deployment and seeks industrial and business partners to scale up implementation, integrate the solution into existing industrial infrastructures, and enable market access in strategic regions such as Japan.
