The Medical Biotechnology Research Group, operating under the Vice Presidency of Life Sciences at TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM), is a multidisciplinary group composed of the Vaccine Technologies, Pharmaceutical Technologies, and Molecular Oncology Research Teams.

The Group conducts integrated research and development activities across a broad spectrum of medical biotechnology and considers collaboration in the following areas to be highly beneficial:

2. In vivo and in vitro testing of drug candidates / Toxicological evaluation of drug candidates

3. Identification and validation of cancer biomarkers

4. Nanoparticle-based cancer diagnosis and therapy / Nanocarrier systems

7. Biological evaluation of biomaterials and medical devices

8. Toxicological characterization of environmental wastes, food residues, cosmetics, and chemicals

9. Development of 3D in vitro models as alternatives to animal testing

10. Tissue engineering and regenerative medicine

11. Immune responses and signaling pathways in disease pathophysiology
