Horizon Europe Clean Industrial Deal Brokerage Event
Europe’s industrial future is entering a new phase. The adoption of the Clean Industrial Deal reflects a deeper recognition that decarbonisation, if it is to endure, must also become a source of industrial competitiveness, technological capacity, and economic resilience. The transition to climate neutrality is no longer defined solely by targets; it is increasingly shaped by production systems, investment choices, and strategic partnerships underpinning Europe’s next generation of industrial capacity.
Moments of strategic transition bring a familiar challenge. The Clean Industrial Deal is widely recognised as a major step in Europe’s industrial and climate agenda. What is still taking shape, however, is the practical framework through which this vision will translate into projects, partnerships, and industrial deployment. While many actors acknowledge its significance, fewer have yet converted this into concrete consortium strategies, shared project ambitions, and large-scale collaboration.
This discrepancy between policy recognition and implementation capacity suggests the need for more deliberate and structured dialogue.
In this context, TÜBİTAK is pleased to invite you to the Clean Industrial Deal International Brokerage Event, taking place online on 4 June 2026.
The event is designed as a strategic platform for the exchange of knowledge, the alignment of priorities, and partnership building around the evolving industrial landscape shaped by the Clean Industrial Deal and related Horizon Europe opportunities. It brings together actors whose roles are inherently connected, yet who do not always meet within the same project-building space: energy-intensive industries, clean-tech providers, research and technology organisations, universities, SMEs, clusters, public authorities, organised industrial zones, innovation intermediaries, and investment-oriented actors.
Such a gathering is timely for a clear reason. The challenge ahead is no longer limited to invention; it is about connection: connecting industrial needs with technological readiness, climate ambition with business reality, and policy direction with deployment pathways capable of delivering tangible economic and societal value. The future will belong not only to those who understand the transition, but to those who are able to actively coordinate and implement around it.
For Türkiye, this moment carries particular significance. With its industrial depth, applied research capacity, entrepreneurial dynamism, and strong integration into European value chains, Türkiye is well positioned to contribute to this transformation. In this context, TÜBİTAK provides a strategic entry point for European and Turkish stakeholders to engage at a time when Europe’s next industrial chapter is taking shape.
The programme will provide a focused environment for policy reflection, project exchange, and targeted matchmaking across key themes of the Clean Industrial Deal, including industrial decarbonisation, clean technologies for climate action, circularity, bio-based production, advanced materials, strategic value chains, and deployment-oriented innovation. Participants will have the opportunity to explore shared interests, present project ideas, identify complementarities, and take initial steps towards building future consortia.
