Food Scientist study on Clean tech and Active packaging

I graduated in Biotechnology from Yeditepe University in 2017 (PhD), in Food Engineering from METU in 2003 (M.Sc), and in 2001 (BS). I worked at Altıparmak Gıda on laboratory accreditation (2003-2011), and then in the Food Engineering Department at Yeditepe University as a Graduate Scholarship Student (2011-2015). I won the TUBITAK National Scholarship (2211c) and continued my PhD studies in the Department of Food Phytochemistry at the Instituto de la Grasa, CSIC, in Spain (2015-2016). My research interests are process development for the green recovery of bioactive compounds from plant-based wastes and method development and validation for determining bioactive compounds in complex matrices. These days, I have focused on essential oils as biopesticides for food safety.
