TRANSPORTATION
With its prime location in the heart of the European capital, close to Brussels South Station (SNCB, Eurostar), The EGG is easily accessible by public transport (metro, buses), but also by car, as there are several parkings close by. The fast train to Brussels Airport takes under 30 minutes.
Public Transport in Brussels
STIB-MIVB operates all metro, tram, and bus lines in Brussels. You can pay contactless on board, each journey costs €2.10 and includes unlimited transfers within 60 minutes. Daily fares are capped at €7.50. Tickets are also available from red and blue GO vending machines, or at STIB-MIVB outlets (BOOTIK, KIOSK, SHOP). Note: a separate fare applies for bus line 12 from the airport to the city centre.

Street parking is limited and paid. The nearest car park is Q-Park (paid), located 12 minutes walk from the venue.

WELCOME DESK
Registration will take place in the registration hall at the following times:

You will need to print your badge at the self-service kiosks by scanning the QR code, which will be sent to you a few days before the event. You can present the QR code directly from your phone.
Please also bring a valid identity card or passport. For security reasons, your badge must be worn visibly at all times while inside the venue.
CATERING
Participants will be offered coffee breaks and lunches, served within the event venue.
RECEPTION
A Cocktail Reception will be held on 29 September, from 17:30 to 19:30, in the meeting venue.
EXHIBITION
The Riverside will host an exhibition showcasing cancer relevant projects and initiatives. The exhibition is accessible throughout the days of the Conference. A full list of exhibitors will be published on the event website.
LUGGAGE AND CLOAKROOM
Large suitcases will not be permitted—maximum allowed bag dimensions are 60 cm (width) x 42 cm (height) x 25 cm (depth).
A staffed cloakroom will be available throughout the event during venue opening hours. Please ensure your personal belongings are not left unattended at any time, as unattended items may be removed.
RECORDING AND PHOTOS
Photographers and videographers will be present throughout the event for communication purposes. If you indicated during registration that you do not wish to appear in photos or video footage, please remind the team at the welcome desk when you arrive. You will be given a coloured lanyard, which you must wear visibly at all times to help our media team identify you.
To further respect your preference, we kindly ask you to sit in the back rows of session rooms, as audience shots are primarily taken from the front.
INTERNET
During the event, a dedicated Wi-Fi network will be accessible to participants.
SLIDO
Slido will be used in many sessions to enable audience interaction. You can take part using your laptop or mobile device. A QR code for easy access will be displayed in each room where Slido is used.
LIVESTREAMING AND RECORDINGS
All sessions, except for workshops, will be livestreamed. Recordings of these sessions will also be made available after the event as video-on-demand content.
