Living Lab Infrastructure for Transitional and Home Care
Founder, Research Associate at Institute of Housing Research
Landshut, Germany
About
We seek long-term partners interested in establishing research environments at the interface of clinical care and everyday housing. The Institute's ZHV concept combines temporary supported living, everyday-life training, caregiver involvement, assistive technologies and scientific evaluation, creating an environment in which interventions can be explored and validated before transfer into the permanent home. Municipalities, hospitals, rehabilitation services, care providers, universities and civil-society organisations are particularly relevant partners.
Consider the attached file a sketch, an invitation to get in contact with us. We developed it (and continue to do so) as a non-profit infrasctructure with the German health care system in focus, but transitions, multimorbidities, an aging society are a global problem, requiring global ideas and local responses.
