Research partnership combining technical expertise and participatory methodologies

Science For Change (SFC) is seeking a research partner (university, research institute or content-focused organisation) to combine complementary expertise and co-create impactful research initiatives.

SFC brings expertise in participatory methodologies, stakeholder engagement, citizen science, co-creation and social research approaches. We design and facilitate processes that connect researchers, communities, policymakers and other relevant stakeholders, ensuring that knowledge generation is inclusive, relevant and connected to societal needs.

We are looking for a partner that contributes strong scientific expertise, thematic knowledge or research content in a specific field. While the partner provides the technical and scientific foundation, SFC contributes the methodologies and engagement processes needed to involve relevant actors, understand perspectives, facilitate collaboration and maximise the societal relevance and impact of research outcomes.

Together, we aim to combine scientific excellence with participatory approaches: co-designing research questions, engaging stakeholders, analysing insights collectively and translating knowledge into meaningful outcomes for society, policy and practice.

This collaboration model is particularly relevant for projects requiring interdisciplinary approaches, stakeholder involvement, public engagement, social innovation or stronger links between research and society.
