Distributed Living Labs for Health, Care and Housing
Founder, Research Associate at Institute of Housing Research
Landshut, Germany
About
We hope to develop a distributed Living Lab approach for studying how people, homes, technologies, care arrangements and everyday practices interact over time. We are interested in joint projects that connect real homes, transitional settings, care organisations and research sites into privacy-conscious environments for participatory and longitudinal research. Topics include autonomy, adaptation, assistive technology, human factors, ageing, rehabilitation and health@home. Habitat provides a possible digital infrastructure through which participating households can become decentralised, remotely supported Living Lab sites.
